Business Interview

Requirement - Strong solution sales and consulting business development and delivery background with demonstrated ability to close business and manage the ongoing delivery.
Competency
- Experienced with business development and solutions for small business and the non-profits. I have spent the last 15 years in business at senior management levels. Business and sales training is ongoing, I attended classes at the Entrepreneurial School for Education in Dayton, Ohio. Classes included new business development and viability, formulating advisory boards, and the course for Presidents.

Requirement - Achieve client satisfaction through successful deployments of new solutions.
Competency - Excelled in corporate branding solutions and technology advancements for corporations. Designing new interactive, web based tools and processes to enhance and grow businesses.

Requirement - Compile client requests and deployment issues, to provide a feedback channel into our core products.
Competency - Excelling at client service, many satisfied clients that can attest to the resourcefulness and responsiveness of my leadership and team.

Requirement - Ability to work with sales, technologists, designers, and project managers to identify, document and close consulting engagements for strategic solutions that leverage the internal management software
Competency - I currently manage a sales team, technology team, and a marketing graphics team of 8 people for 10 Curtains Media. I am providing consulting to each group and their clients full-time. I am also proficient and teach Adobe products including Photoshop CS3, Illustrator CS3, InDesign CS3, and Acrobat.

Requirement - Ability to collaborate with sales team to build and execute account strategies.
Competency - I excel in personnel relations; collaboration with finance, marketing, sales, corporate, education, food services, multi-media, and graphics design and printing. I have been successful in implementing growth strategies and marketing programs for the foundation at my current company. Response within the organization is, “wow, this is much more than we ever dreamed it would be.”

Requirement - Creative and design background either from an interactive agency or top tier design firm or strong affinity for incorporating design innovation into solutions.
Competency - I currently design full-time for 10 Curtains Media, consult for two of the top agencies in the Dayton & Cincinnati Ohio area and have worked for numerous advertising agencies over my 24 year career. The skills that I possess are diverse as I have a traditional agency design background and technology skills accumulated through the advent of the internet. I have utilized Adobe products since 1987 and feel confident these products have given me a definite edge in the marketplace.

Requirement - Strong educational foundation
Competency - I graduated at the top of my class with an associate’s degree in graphic design and offer real world experience equivalent to a master’s degree. Since 2005, I have also taught Adobe products at Greene County Career Center in Fairborn, Ohio - specializing in training their staff and students in Photoshop CS3, Illustrator CS3, InDesign CS3, and Acrobat.

Requirement - Ability to assess client environment from a business process, organizational and technological perspective and effectively communicate opportunities for change.
Competency - I am a true entrepreneur and have always pursued a better way with my business technology. I am passionate about business and innovation as it relates to technology and marketing and enjoy sharing my knowledge with others in the marketplace.

Requirement
- Gathering sales requirements, generating proposals, presenting to client senior management and participating in complex sales cycles.
Competency - My current and previous positions involve creating each custom proposal. I work with a technology team, corporate, and finance to establish proposals and present the final result to decision makers.

Requirement
- Generating follow on business with existing clients through effective client delivery and networking within the client environment.
Competency - I am constantly pursuing new opportunities for growth within the corporate environment. Building relationships and growing the company exponentially through those relationships. Business referrals have worked very well for me and have been one of my highest accomplishments.

- Managing medium to large enterprise systems implementations. Managing a multi-disciplined delivery/project team.
Compentency - Currently manage medium to large companies’ projects with the 10 Curtains Media and client project teams.

Requirement - Working with senior level client management personnel, delivering quality client presentations and managing issues.
Competency - Because of my graphics, design, marketing, and presentation experience with a large corporation, I am qualified to deliver top quality solutions…without question.

Requirement - Anticipating problems and recommending innovative solutions. Attentive to client and project team needs.
Competency - I have a proven track record in trouble-shooting problems on very complex projects as well as being able to anticipate potential issues through many years of experience, for example:

  • Hired to build a complex online ecommerce network for housing auctions, similar to an eBay environment. The original developer was not able to accomplish the level of integration that was required. I was able to restart the project and provide communications to the client with little resistance and contracted a qualified programmer to finish the project in a reasonable time frame. The client appreciated my honesty and integrity to see this project through to completion.
  • A client sought a solution for their insurance quoting systems that had grown too complex to manage. The point of contact was one person – causing a “bottle neck effect” to get quoting completed and caused a slow down in the companies growth. I assembled a team of developers to create a unique system that allowed for mass scalability and growth within the organization. Within 1 year the company was purchased by a large healthcare provider and benefitted from our development.
  • An assisted living healthcare provider became overwhelmed with the tasks of reporting within all the areas to cover within their organization. I lead my tem to develop a reporting environment and management system to gather, compile and create reports at will, across the whole network of data available. A complex task but achievable with knowledge and experience. The organization is now able to track their costs and usage of medicines, facilities and patient costs, allowing them to control costs and save money in the future.

Competency - I have a team that respects me and will walk with me through the most challenging situations. I believe I have full support of my team and I am blessed to have a strong staff that is flexible and up for the challenge. My verbal and written skills are strong coupled with my people/ communication skills.
